What is a Seasonal Working Visa?

There are two types of seasonal work visas: the Seasonal Worker Programme (SWP) visa and the Temporary Work (Skilled) (Subclass 457) visa.
The SWP visa is for people from Pacific island countries who want to come to UKto work in the agriculture, horticulture or fishing industries. The 457 visa is for people from all other countries who want to come to UK to work in any occupation on the skilled occupations list.

Who is Eligible for a Seasonal Working Visa?
There are certain requirements that must be met in order to be eligible for a seasonal working visa. Firstly, the applicant must be aged 18 or over. Secondly, they must have a valid passport from their country of origin.Thirdly, they must have completed at least one year of tertiary education, or have equivalent work experience.Fourthly, they must have a clean criminal history and be of good character.
